volvo 2017 S60 map update Sensus system

 https://www.volvocars.com/tw/support/downloads/maps/mca/tai-wan/ First go to volvo site, select your car model and car model(which is in form of ATxxxx) there may be 1 or 2 options for your car model, select the one fit your car. then select the down load section, and click on the map down load. there will be a mac or windows down load It will down load a exe file name like Sensus_Update_MCA_Taiwan.exe which is a down loader Prepare a USB drive, better to format it as FAT32 and make sure there is nothing else on it, and no other program running on your PC which may access to your USB file system. it took me few try to get the loader running. with version 32319288, the zise is 3.63GB. run the program, it's a down loader, I select to down load directly to USB, you can also save it on the hard drive. 2017 volvo S60 T4 aux battery replacement after 7 years

not a scientific measurement, but I do feel that my battery system seems to draw more currents on charging system. By feeling the vibration and the temp of alternator. 2024 I tested my original aux battry, the interenal resistor rised to 23.3 mOhm Based on the manual, this one has to be AGM one, search my local netshoping,  the volvo brand one is about 5000NTD, and it's made of china, with varta/fiamm it would be 3000~2000NTD. I found Yuasa AGM YT12B-BS, CCA 210, at 1300NTD and made in Taiwan. ahthough the dimension is slight different, Yuasa one is slightly smaller. it should fit. It comes with battery fluid seperated, but with clear explaination and steps, no problem on this, but still being very careful since it's strong acid. steps are well noted. the acid flude are designed to fill in to 6 cells the black one is the cap of battery, do not open the aluminum caps. the inlet is designed with slop, where can easily cut through the fluid caps I use a plastic container and glov...

S60 235/40 R18 tires change

 The last one was changed in costco with PS4, 2020/11/21 with millage at 37403Km Switched 3 times there, and reach 76000Km 2024/1/5, the front tired has some extra wear on the side, 定位應該跑掉了... the new quotation from costco is at 27636NTD for 4 PS5 tires, it's quite expensive, I decided to go for a search. Originally I was searching for PS5 or PC7, these are in the range of 5000NTD/pcs I found this shop not too far from my location: 樺永輪胎【永和旗艦店】 when I reach there, PS5. PC7 has gone, the recommendation from shop is good year F1A6 made in Germany.(I did not know they do this in Germany), still 5000/pcs. 定位 is included with 4 tires changed. After the installation, car back to quite and easy to handle again.Nice.

 2022 3 10 it start with about 5 sec of crank, seems the battery is giving up...
